September 10, 2002. Thieves have broken into basements in two cities in Afghanistan to steal plastic containers. Those containers were holding seeds – extremely vital seeds. But the thieves didn't want the seeds and so they dump them. With that, a critical natural resource, one of the most important on Earth, is lost forever.
