The focus is on four women, Tina, Kaya, Nadine and Heike, who have been friends since childhood. Cheated on by her husband and eventually abandoned for his affair, single mom Tina begins to reorganize her life. On a night out with her friends, she meets Christian and sparks a great deal between the two of them, so that they eventually get together. Kaya, on the other hand, has been happily married to her husband for 20 years and acts as a structured housewife before she finds out about the financial crisis in Dirk's company. In a knee-jerk reaction, she leases a nail salon. Nadine is the cheerful person in the group and is eagerly awaiting the long-awaited proposal from her friend Klaus. When he is ready, she finds her maid of honor in Heike and has been planning her wedding ever since.
