Warriors of the Wind, the American edited version of this movie was the first anime I ever saw.
Even then, well before knowing how good the actual Nausicaa was, I felt like this was something special. Everything from the now-famous Ghibli art style, the Joe Hisashi music, and the post-apocalypse story makes me feel the warmth of nostalgia.
Found Footage films in horror are so plentiful that when one comes about like Troll Hunter, it really stands out. I am not saying this is a masterpiece, but it's a better use of the genre than the typical haunted house films that are usually seen.
A Fave Review of this came when my mom said - "I was okay with it until the one troll had three heads. Then it became Unbelievable."
While not perfect, I find that Ted Lasso's more positive attitude stands out from the streaming world filled with the opposite. Sometimes, it's just nice to have something a bit more upbeat to watch.
