So Disney was continuing making one of his greatest gems like he did with the first Disney classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Bambi, Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians and The Jungle Book. That's one of Walt Disney's greatest works. The audiences love his magical gems and magic come to life. Magical story's and animation the whole family to enjoy again and again. This is one of Disney's continued works and the reason I said that is because Walt wanted to feature length films that can grow audiences big, I mean really big! He wanted to make the songs so memorable and so catchy and Alan Menken is the one who made the songs so beautiful, compelling and catchy and it really makes the animation so amazing. The songs Part of your World, Under the Sea and the one that got me excited and gripped is Poor Unfortunate Souls. Ohh, and also the French song witch really makes me laugh just like other songs from Disney classics. The characters however are memorable, the Disney princesses again continued, they'll be continued after I finish The Little Mermaid. The villain is so brilliant, Ursula has the power of Ariel and these people who she called them like I mentioned before Poor unfortunate souls. Jodi Benson is the main voice of the Disney princess Ariel. She wanted to be in the human world but her father forbids her to go out there alone because it's dangerous but found a true love of her life called Eric. Flounder and Sebastian are the side characters with Ariel. The chef is hilarious and Sebastian is scared of him cause he cooks fish and crabs and Sebastian escapes from the chef before he cooks him. Now that's slapstick. The animation continued to be brilliant and fresh just like all animation is. That's all I gotta say about it. I think my remembered Liam and Jacob quoting from it so that's why I doing the next Disney animated feature. Enjoy!
Before I can clarify this, I have been watching this Disney classic last year because it is awesome and when I was a kid as well. The characters that I totally liked is Dodger voiced by a singer Billy Joel. There's another character called Georgette voiced by another singer called Bette Midler. The only character who is funny is Tito played by Cheech Marin. He's the most funniest dog in this movie, he has all the one-liners. The songs are enjoyably good, they have the jazz and the one that I didn't even notice years ago is Huey Lewis. I repeat, Huey Lewis, not Huey Lewis and the News. I have been singing those songs non stop like Once Upon A Time In New York City, Why Should I Worry and Streets Of Gold. They're always good to listen to and sing. The funny moments are a lot of fun and the chase scene at the end is awesome where the dogs and Fagin being chased by Sykes played by Robert Loggia. The scene where the Dodger and the other dogs find Oliver from Jenny's house is that Einstein sniffs the perfume and then he sneezed and it sounds funny. I even laughed at that non stop when I was a kid and it still carry's on when I got older. Yes, my me and my friends loved and that is why it's Disney.
After the disappointment of the forgettable Disney classic The Black Cauldron Disney has some interesting ideas for the next feature film Basil The Great Mouse Detective aka The Great Mouse Detective. It's about the Sherlock Holmes story where Basil and Dawson had to find Olivia's father from the evil villain voiced by the famous Vincent Price. The chase scenes are a lot of fun just like from the other Disney classics. There's even some scary scenes of a bat in it much like in The Black Cauldron, it is one of the darkest feature films ever. The animation and characters are great, my favorite character is Basil and and the animation is good as well but for the clock tower, the animators are computer animation to make it look like you're inside the big ben. If anyone's a huge Vincent Price fan, I guess this is a Disney classic for you.
"Legend has it, in the mystic land of Prydain, there is once a king so cruel and so evil, that even the Gods feared him. Since no prison could hold him, he was thrown alive into a crucible of molten iron. There his demonic spirit was captured in the form of a great, Black Cauldron. For uncounted centuries, the Black Cauldron lay hidden, waiting, while evil men searched for it, knowing whoever possessed it would have the power to resurrect an army of deathless warriors... and with them, rule the world."
The Black Cauldron is well known to be a box office failure as for as Disney's concern. The only thing I have it is that I hate box office failures, it's just not good as a movie even for Disney. On the bright side it gained a cult following and it's good to see people really liking the movies that are box office bombs that gained cult followings. My friends really loves this movie because years ago my best friend Liam Fleming heard me quoting the lines when I was in the front of the taxi. He heard me quoting:
"I shall send of your dastardly deed. I'm Fflewddur Fflam, minstrel of minstrels! Balladeer to the grandest courts in all the land! And I, uh, eh? Eh, well, have you forgotten? I have sung in some of the finest courts... Well, I'm only waiting for an invitation. Oh, shush. Why do you have to judge every word I say? (gasps) (whispers) What's that? (screams) HHHHHEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPP!!!"
Me and my two friends joined in and we both have fun together. Jacob Dimmock recorded me quoting what Fflewddur fflam says. Too bad the characters are bland and forgettable even Taran who looks like Wart from The Sword in the Stone. But The Horned King is so horrifying and he's voiced by John Hurt. Nothing too bad about The Black Cauldron, it's just forgettable.
The Fox and the Hound is one of those movies that I really love as a kid and a teenager I still loved it and Nathan had seen it as well. The scenes in it are funny with Dinky and Boomer and when I was a kid Boomer sounds like Tigger and he even laughs like him. The chase scenes are a lot of fun and the bear scene, that whole scene is awesome. I used to watch it over and over when I was younger. It's creative and it's just got the climax. And much like The Jungle Book the opening credits, the opening credits is scary with no music. All they have here is forest noises that is until the female fox appears. This scares me when I was a kid. The scenes sometimes gets scary and sometimes gets quiet. The movie is really good much like Sleeping Beauty.
