Villainous Gru lives up to his reputation as a despicable, deplorable and downright unlikable guy when he hatches a plan to steal the moon from the sky. But he has a tough time staying on task after three orphans land in his care.
A good family movie, though while the rude humor can be annoying it doesn't envelope the movie. The minions make the kids laugh and the action can entertain anyone who likes it. The emotion is there; it doesn't falter to the point of being too much or too little. I am glad this movie exists.
