Funk and Jazz fusion have never been more rebellious.

This is the game where Bioware's storytelling and gameplay peaked, for me. It's corny at times, and it sometimes tries way too hard to be "dark," but it still has a hell of a buildup, and a cast of characters that are fun and unique.

Getting blasted into the sky by a giant rarely gets old.

There are not many open world games that can top The Witcher 3 in scope, in storytelling (both the main storyline, the sidequests, and in emergent moments), and in just how many aspects of it are incredibly fun.

Aesop Rock is one of those rappers whose style is incredibly polarizing. Do you like an absolutely ridiculous level of wordplay? Do you want to hear some beatwork that can have swagger and emotion all on its own? But if you're not into that, it can sound goofy. I will say that it's one of my favorites, and I will find myself singing the opening lines of the title track to myself often.

This book has so indelibly locked itself in my brain that a glove full of vaseline and petting rabbits still give me chills.

Absolute masterpiece of an album! Thoughtful, clever, awesome beats, so few missteps. I remember the first time I realized that "this is my favorite rap album" was in "Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst," when he just kept repeating "I'll never fade away, I'll never fade away." I just got it.
