At the beginning of the PlayStation's existence there were a few of these interactive movie/QTE/FMV games. This followed on from many of them that were on the Sega CD, 3DO and other systems, where the goal is to quickly press the right button to advance. Like Space Ace and others though, they are often too difficult, making for retry after retry. The game doesn't inform you when you need to press a button to avoid death, and it just makes memorising the buttons and having to constantly retry a necessity. Thankfully, unlike others though, this game doesn't take you back to the start upon death, letting the player pretty much start from where they died. A weird game if nothing else. You play as this raisin looking thing with the aim to jump and bounce on the competitors head to go through the hoop and score points. It's pretty fiddly and frustrating though without much variety.

There's some fun to be had driving into zombies and playing other Twisted Metal type of modes, but the single player campaign is far too repetitive and easy. They needed to included some more game modes. Gameplay 3/5 Graphics 3.5/5 Sound 3.5/5 Difficulty 3.5/5 Originality 3/5

I loved this at first, but it started to bore me after a number of hours. Also, as nice as the graphics/presentation are, they don't change up enough with a lot of backtracking as well adding to the loss of interest I felt with this. Another thing that bothered me is that Elizabeth, the character who is with you for much of the game, seems invincible as she gets shot in combat with no consequence, as well the AI during combat not even acting like she is present.

This offers some differing gameplay than the usual button bashing Olympic titles, as well as offering some unique events. The main difference being the six gymnastics events. Some of the events are extremely frustrating, partly due to the tutorials being too vague and fast. Gameplay 3/5 Graphics 4.5/5 Sound 3.5/5 Difficulty 3.5/5 Originality 3.5/5
