A great collection of R&B and hip hop from all coasts. Many of these types of soundtracks can be hit or miss, but here, most work well including the three with the King of R&B's involvement. Best Tracks: Shame, Homie, Lover, Friend (Looking For My Homie Mix), Turn It Up, The Thing I Like, Cray-Z, How's That, Let's Organize, Ghetto Style, Front, Back & Side to Side, U Rong 4 That

I have seen most things Dave has done and this was probably the show with the least laugh out loud moments. Much of the laughs come him being serious and then making a joke about it. He has always interweaved social commentary throughout his acts but it seems to be a more predominant feature in this special. I did not expect to almost shed a tear though when he was talking about the death of his friend. The hypocrisy of certain groups... An enjoyable 80 minutes, as, as Dave says, he is a master of his craft, but the comedy isn't his best. While I hate how comedians can't just be comedians anymore, and much of the hate they cop for jokes is laughable, whether, as he argues, he has never punched down, is something I question.

I've checked this out after hearing the great 'You Put a Move on My Heart' on Quincy Jones' album, 'Q's Jook Joint'. As I first played this the opener was very underwhelming and is the album's worst song. From there, her most well known song, 'So Into You', is one of the best and then it's a nice blend of R&B until some standouts towards the end of the album included a nice cover of 'Careless Whisper'. A nice listen, with a couple of high moments, but there aren't enough for a higher rating. 3-3.5/5. Best Tracks: So Into You, Show Me Love, Loving You Still, Careless Whisper, You Put a Move on My Heart

Overall, Lisa just came across as a horrible person. I think if she was written to be a slightly nicer human being I would have felt more sympathy for her. She is so quick to snap, as are a few characters like they are on roids. e.g. why'd Lisa mention that she'd had an abortion in front of Mr. Aaron and his friend / girlfriend? Come to think of it, why did the sex even need to be in this film, especially considering this was cut down from five hours? It's probably 20mins or so too long as it was. Lastly, as other reviewers have pointed out, the film is either pretty calm, or there's a shouting match. Enjoyable, but the fact that so much was filmed and then cut probably tells in the end.

Tom Selleck /Phil Blackwood comes across as a pompous, unlikable person for much of the film. That's the main criticism. And secondly, it also begins as more of a drama, with some comedic elements, and evolves into an almost screwball comedy as it progresses. By the end I didn't know what I was watching.
