The best thing about the first game in the Far Cry series was the graphics. While they do not feel as groundbreaking in this, they still make for a picturesque environment as the developers have thankfully returned to the tropical island setting that the first was in. In Far Cry 3 the story is fairly interesting with the premise being that a group of vacationers get kidnapped, one person gets free and then tries to rescue his friends. From there the story features some drug references, sex scenes, frequent swearing and gore, intertwined in a kind of finding yourself/coming of age subplot. The voice acting is fairly spot on, although at times the array of accents among the same group of people seems odd. Some seem a lil Australian, others Kiwi, others something completely different. While I'm on the sound, the music does the job, but I didn't find it anything to write home about. The gameplay gives the gamer many options, with a huge world to explore to do the 30 odd missions in, along with many more side-quests, and the option to claim bases, race and hunt. Lastly, I won't say too much, but I did find the ending unsatisfying. It certainly doesn't give enough away about what the future holds for any of the characters. The only reason I can think of is that they will, or are thinking about Far Cry 4 being a sequel to this, because to put so much work into a game and neglect the ending doesn't make sense.

An enjoyable kart racing game featuring all the muppets with some humour from the characters that also come in the form of unlockable videos from the muppet films that add to that. The tracks are inspired by the films and feature some shortcuts that help you master them. Like CTR, the adventure mode allows for hours and hours of play that takes some patience and time to complete and extends the games longevity considerably. Along with basic racing, there is also a battle mode and a platform like mode. I loved this game and enjoy going back to it. In terms of kart games on the PS1, CTR probably has better driving physics and weapons-the biggest flaw this game has is probably the lack of weapons as there are only four of them-but this is a more challenging game and takes many more hours to master.

Almost two years later this finally gets a release on Windows. I remember seeing the early trailers for this in 2009/10 and to me it seemed like it would be more adventure than action, but nevertheless one can't complain too much with the final product. Overall it is pretty much a Silent Hill game with a slightly more interesting story than in recent games.
Positives: addictive gameplay, the environments are vast and highly detailed, interesting story, the score and voice acting is of a high standard, there is some originality in gameplay and it is very forgiving with checkpoints being plentiful. Negatives: the combat is a bit rough (particularly the ducking movement), the vehicle handling gets the job done but isn't brilliant, lack of different enemies, and the gameplay could have been less linear. Finally, as far as the horror portion of the game goes, a creepy atmosphere is created, but I don't think it quite pulls off frightening the gamer if that was the intention.

Firstly, the intros on the bookends are amazing. As this was the world's introduction to Barry White, it's fitting that he sounds like he is almost having an orgasm on the intro to the opener given the baby making music he made. It's got a little more funk, sounding Isaac Hayes influenced, compared to his future more soulful albums. I've gone through his whole discography, and keeping in mind that it does only have five songs, I'd say along with 'Can't Get Enough' and 'Rhapsody In White', that this is his most consistently great project from front to back.

This is probably her best album. It begins with one of her greatest songs, the bop, 'Get Right', and from there, there is a run of enjoyable music. Her voice isn't amazing but gets the job done over production and song writing led by many heavy hitters from Timbaland, Usher, Tim & Bob to Rodney Jerkins. 'Hold You Down' is a tad slow and 'I Got U' and 'Still Around' are songs I won't be rushing back to but the consistency is a surprise. There is some good dance-pop/R&B on offer.
Best Tracks: Get Right, Cherry Pie, Ryde or Die, I Love, (Can't Believe) This Is Me, Get Right (Remix)
