I've played Turbo Racing and one or two other Hot Wheels games and I expected the same type of thing, but this game is quite different. It plays more like a kart game, with weapons and small vehicles. The graphics on some tracks are quite bland, and the track design is much better in other games. Throughout a track, you automatically switch from being an on-road vehicle to an aerial one, or on water, which is a bit unique. A decent vehicular combat racing game, but there are better alternatives on the PS1.

As much as I like Canibus as a rapper, and it's been great to see his output increase the past year of so after somewhat of a lean spell, this has the same issues as some of his other recent work. The production is unimpressive and there is almost nothing catchy. You can still make lyrical music with substance and write a catchy hook. Canibus used to do that. There are some half decent beats, but nothing made me want to spin this again or add a track to a playlist to save for later.
'Less Than Zero' is the only song to really get me boppin'. This doesn't sound that fresh like the best songs on his last albums have. Also, that Lil Wayne voice is still annoying as f... Why does he choose to rap like that?
