I've never adored a whole project from Ghostface. I've always loved him as a rapper. His beat selection on the other hand...Not always so much. I like everything here though. Ghostface might not be touching on a lot of interesting topics on this project, but he still raps excellently, is an engaging rapper, there are some catchy hooks, and the beats are quite good. I'm not put off by the words he uses like some like to be.
There's nothing brilliant here but it's an enjoyable 33 minutes of hip hop with a number of different sounds present. 3.5-3 / 5.

I'm a fan of Del as many are but I'm not feeling this free album a huge amount. It reminds me of his last to a degree with one good track then a poor one. The pattern exists on this album particularly early on. However, on the 'Eleventh Hour' the tracks I liked I enjoy more than the songs I do on this. In saying this though, the consistency improves as the album goes on and this album finishes off reasonably.
'Straight from the Big Bad West Coast' is one of the better tracks on the album featuring some real raw rapping from Del that I haven't heard for a while and I think Del's performance is nice throughout the whole album. On the beat side of things, as expected, it features a funky theme throughout the tracks. Many though blend in too much together creating too much of the same sound throughout the thirteen tracks. Also, the sound quality doesn't seem great. I got it with the best quality from Del's site but it sounds ruff too me. It's worth a listen for Del fans who will find something to enjoy but for me there's nothing I like enough to give it a higher rating.
Best Tracks: Get It Right Now!, Fit Like a Glove, I'm Smellin' Myself, Simple Satisfaction, Sometimes I Gotta Get Stupid, Straight from the Big Bad West Coast, Land of Funk
This is another advocate of having your music in video games. That is the reason why I bought this album and hence possess one the better and original albums in hip hop. We all know the concept of being in a futuristic setting for which Del tells the story excellently, and Dan and Kid Koala create some of the best beats you'll hear. This is an album which tempts me to 5/5 it, but a few tracks such as 'Upgrade', 'Love Story' and 'Turbulence' drop the standard just enough not to do so. Some exceptional tracks are here though and must be heard.

This starts off pretty good, I was wondering why the low rating, but then it begins to get boring before half way.
Overall, the beats aren't terrible on this, but I don't know if Mac is trying to fit too many words into each bar or what, but unlike the best rappers, he really doesn't make spittin' sound effortless at all. An average rapper. While beginning reasonably well, it fails to maintain my interest the further the album goes on also.
