Paradise Alley begins with Sylvester singing. He can't. From there it doesn't ever develop into much apart from some interesting characters and cinematography giving an interesting glimpse into the 1940s. Stallone seems high off his new found fame here and enjoys his time on screen.

I think this is one of the better parody films I've watched. There are a lot of consistent laughs despite some serious content at times as well.

This flick takes too long to get going and when it does it doesn't do enough. I expected another Die Hard but this is far from it. One of those that you'd need to see on the big screen to get anything out of.

Sam particularly, but this just has unlikeable characters from go to whoa with a ridiculous plot to boot. I can't stand this love story BS like they'll be together for the rest of their life from practically a 15 year old with someone she has never had a conversation with. One of the most overrated movies I've tried to watch. I had to skim through the last 30 minutes or so.

According to what I've read, Ferrari's future didn't really depend on winning the Mille Miglia. If that's true, surely there was enough non-fictional drama in Enzo's life to choose from that we didn't need the fantasy. Nevertheless, even with the ending seeming like it was somewhat rushed, I enjoyed the film. However, it does make me ask questions about the on-going double standards of the easy offended brigade. If a heterosexual actor is cast as a homosexual person everyone is up in arms. If a white person is cast as a black figure, as above. If a white person is cast as a Hispanic person, the twitter fingers go wild. A skinny actor plays a fat person, OMG! But here we go again, just like Mario, we have an Italian icon and others cast as non-Italians and no one cared. The selective outrage continues.
