And the award for the worst thing Justin Bieber has released up to this point goes to...Changes! This album is a slog to get through. All the tracks are boring, there's little to no variety, and for an album dedicated to Justin Bieber's wife, this album is remarkably unsexy and completely lacking in romance. Normally, I would give this a four, but Justin's godawful lyrics drag this down considerably. The whole album is so clingy, and both versions of Yummy make me skin crawl.

Company is a great song, but I'd also argue that Where Are U Now is pretty great. I like the electronic influence on that one. Oh, and No Sense is a Justin Bieber trap song done right. Children is also pretty good due to its electronic elements. Other than that, this album doesn't do much for me. There are some truly manipulative songs on here, including the insincere apology song Sorry, the gaslighting anthem No Pressure, and the whiny I'll Show You. Yeah, Justin's attitude on here is trash, but I will admit that it has some interesting instrumentation.

I enjoyed this album. However, it does get pulled down by some songs I don't care for, including All Bad and Change Me (For being manipulative), as well as Swap It Out (Which is a bit too repetitive) and One Life (For Justin's pathetic attempt at rapping). I also found Hold Tight to be pretty derivative and What's Hatnin' to be just plain awful. That said, the rest of the album is good if not great. Especially Confident, that's my favorite Justin Bieber song.

I didn't enjoy a single song on this album even a little bit. I thought Fall was super manipulative and insincere, and All Around the World and Beauty and a Beat are just typical pop songs. Everything else is bad to awful. Die in Your Arms, As Long as You Love Me and Boyfriend are awful. Thought of You is the cheesiest song here. Right Here is pathetic. As for everything else, it's pretty meh.

Let me say one positive thing before I tear into this album. The cover of Santa Claus Is Coming to Town is actually great. It has an old school soul sound that I can't help but love. With that out of the way, the rest of this album is mediocre at best. It's filled to the brim with boring acoustic ballads, and most of those acoustic ballads don't sound nearly as organic as they should because of a horribly synthetic snap beat. Other than Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, the only songs that deviate from this formula are All I Want for Christmas Is You, which sounds exactly like the original (what was the point of this exactly?) and Drummer Boy, which is the most atrocious thing Bieber had made up to this point. Imagine the chorus to Little Drummer Boy, but verses that are rapped, poorly at that.
